The NASIOC forums have take this to the opposite extreme.  No pics in sigs, in fact no signatures at all, no avatars, no special username colors or titles, NO NOTHING.  It really doesn\'t work because you can\'t immediately identify posters the way you can on other forums.

This was the guys signature, its still etched into my eyeballs, its a rough guess, I cant remember the user, but it was apicture along this lines;
