Kamakazi pilots weren\'t suicide bombers.  THey just used their planes as weapons since they wouldn\'t have made it back to land anyway.

If he survived by pulling away too soon to save his own life and missing his target, then he\'s a failure.  If he hits his target and survives, he\'s a survivor

Their job is to die so I\'d say unless they eject and destroy their target, its a failure.

I\'d classify it as a failure. They were suppose to die right?

But also, they completed most of their mission, and can be used again...

Damn, :( I want to change my vote

Kamikazi pilots who didn\'t die with their plane kill themselves with harikir anyway (unless they\'re cought in time) .. so they die just the same.

Apparently they really did know they were going to die.  I found this article which has some cool photos in it.

Losing one soldier for killing thousands seems like a small sacrafice.

I dont see why this idea would be rejected... Althought cowardly, clever.
