I heard it several times. I also blame that on the over zealous reporters hoping to move up in rank and have their network get the story out first.

Just like today is the third time that saddam is supposed to be dead in this war.

Reporters saying crap is different. Like the chemicals found.  Our government hasn\'t said it\'s chemical weapons, yet the media has run with it.

I don\'t remember them saying we got Osama.  Close to, may have, on the trail, etc..  I certianly heard those statements.

This saddam thing though they have said there is a pretty good chance we got him.

But there are two factors.

It could have been miss information, or he could have gotten out in time.

But they have said that they did not see anyone leave before the strikes so I guess we can only hope.

That guy who tells people in Iraq whats going on in the war makes me laugh. When we took over the airport he said that the Republican Guard crushed our forces while on CNN they were showing pics of us just walking through the place.
