Either way, that was only a clone of Sephiroth, so he still didn\'t say it.

But Sephiroth\'s text bubble had stopped (after he couldn\'t say it), and then the words appeared.  Which I thought made it pretty obvious that it wasn\'t him, thus it was the puppet master - Jenova.

Jenova the puppet master? Don´t tell me you´re one of those guys. I say it´s Sephiroth who´s controlling Jenova, but I guess it´s all down to oppinion.

I don\'t see how.  Sephiroth is just an enhanced soldier, Jenova is an all powerful being capable of mind manipulation..

Jenova was the one who stated; "Because you are...a puppet." .  Sephiroth had long left the area.

And, IIRC, the Genesis version had "Get over here", while the Snes version had "Come here".

Or vice versa.

Sephiroth just an enhanced soldier? That\'s funny. Why? Because I seem to remember him falling into the lifestream (or rather thrown into it, by Cloud) where he gathered all the wisdom of the ancient\'s, along with super powers.

What super powers?  You only see him at ONE point in the entire game, and you kill him in ONE hit (Well, technically it\'s 15 hits :p).

Jenova was the being with the power of manipulation (and she was extremely potent with it), it only makes sense that she is the puppet master.  Not the other way around, given that he doesn\'t have those powers.

And refresh my memory (It\'s been a LONG time), how do you know that falling into the life-stream gave him the knowledge of the Ancients?

Also, how come Cloud didn\'t receive these powers after falling into the life-stream?

Jenova said it.  :)  Well, "said" isn\'t the correct word, more likely she passed the thought directly into Clouds mind (hence why it wasn\'t in a speech bubble).

And besides, I thought she said it after the battle.  It\'s been a while.  :)
