OMG! Gaming has just gotten me soo excited recently. I have to buy a gamecube now. If one game could get me to buy a gamecube it would be this. The box in the 6th pic is kinda fugly though. They should put the waving tarp on it like when u fight olga in MGS2. meh, Drool. Wow. admirable sigh*

Shouldnt this be in the console topics though???

Not too impressive so far;  the geometry in the environment is kind of dull, and yeah, that box there in the last pic needs a makeover.  I like the enemy models though.  

I\'m anxious to see pics of boss battles and such.

Yeah i wonder why they look like that. I guess for me just seeing such a great game with a makeover like this is just exciting. Doesnt look as good as MGS2 though. I wonder why. Meh ill wait till further details.

This is interesting in a couple ways.

Does everyone remember when there was rumors of a MGS remake? It was thought to be for the Xbox and then MGS2: Substance was announced and everyone forgot about it.

Then months later it is announced that Silcon Knights (Eternal Darkness "fame") was remaking MGS for the NGC, with Hideo\'s help.

Just seems odd that in retrospect, the remake rumors was indeed true, just wrong system.

I also remember a large number of people hoping for a remake of the original MGS with next generation graphics after the sequel was released, which eventually led to some brief \'net rumors.

i heard gc was gonna get a mgs game, but not mgs3 ( thought will get it) and ps2 is gettign it.. but i didnt relsie it was a remake of mgs :0

Can\'t wait to see this bad boy in motion....

i just hope they manage to reproduce the old... play till dawn (like i did once or twice)  like the PS version of MGS had :D.

Yeah it has been confirmed that MGS3 is a ps2 exclusive, (thank god). If feels just like old times when us ps gamers could gloat that only we had MGS.:D

Did you even read the sentance after it? I know from a sales perspective that it is not that great but to us extremely loyal ps/metal gear solid fans, (well me at least) take great pride in the fact that the ps2 has this as a ps2 exclusive. When i heard rumors about the possibility of mgs2 to go to xbox with added features i was pretty angry, (selfish but semi-reasonable for some). Now, like MGS, MGS3 is exclusive to one console and that being the heir to the throne that the first great solid was on,ps2. And you know what, whether it be selfish or not, im damn happy.

On a lighter note, i cant wait for this game and if i have offended anyone, I am truthfully sorry. Thank you, and Good Night. ;)

i thought mgs3 was on ps2 and game cube. x box will never get it, as konami arent making games for x box no more....... as the x box sells v bad in japan
