St. Anger thoughts....

I have been disapointed time and time again in the past year or so with all CD\'s that I have purchased.  I have noticed that most artists release all the good tracks on the radio, so when you buy their albumn, the only thing that you havent heard is the crap.  There have been a few good albumns that I have picked up and still love, almost, the entire albumn in its entirety.  But not much lately.

^Check out Radiohead\'s new album.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Get Radiohead\'s new album, Opeth\'s latest album. Both are excellent.

Try releasing the snare strap on your snare drum, I believe that is the sound that your friend is referring to.

Anyway, whether or not it is coincidence, but ever since Bob rock came onboard, the slip into medicority and general suckitude for Metallica has been quite consistent. This past effort seems to be a vain attempt at recapturing their glory days, and reestablishing their musical credibility with many a lost fan. Meh, I quit listening at the black album.

I thought the Black Album was decent. It has catchy loud songs, nothing more nothing less. Wasn\'t a tenth as good as Master or Justice, but a decent metal album overall.

St.Anger, on the other hand, is subpar. I don\'t know, James\' vocals just aren\'t what they used to be and we don\'t see any amazing solos from Kirk. Its just a bunch of long and loud songs.

Am I the only one who can tell that \'St. Anger\', the title track, is just \'Master of Puppets\' w/some different lyrics?  Listen to it and tell me the songs are not 90% similar.
