I have to totally disagree with your redskins thinking, I am positive they will be 8-8 at BEST.  You can\'t hinge your hope and expect to win with a very inexperienced QB and most likely no running game to take pressure off of him.  I think it\'s gonna be a long season for them, plus i\'m a little biased as they are one of my least favorite teams.

GO CHIEFS!

Just like how people said the same things before the Rams won on the inexperienced Kurt Warner and the Pats did the same with the inexperienced Tom Brady.  Two of the the last four Super Bowls HAVE been won by quarterbacks with less experience than Ramsy has.  As for no running game, I really do feel that Canidate will be enough to take the place of Davis.  Last year, in his end of the year starts against good defenses, Ramsy looked great.  The offensive line has been improved, and the addition of Coles will help a lot.  I\'m not saying they will do it, but I\'m saying they\'re sorta like my sleeper team.

The Rams will go 7-9 at best... I love that they got Sehorn! Terrell Owens will run circles around him, and gets to do it twice this year!

I do not think that Warner will ever be the same again. His confidence is shaken more than anything, he\'s struggled thus far in the preseason, and I doubt we\'ll ever see that explosive offense from the Rams we saw in their Superbowl year again. Faulk is starting to be an injury-proned back (now suffering from soreness in his knee), and he just can\'t last 16 games, he hasnt the past two seasons... I say the only legitimate shot the Rams have will be once Marc Bulger gets behind center, cuz he has the talent that Warner has seemed to lost.

To correct your last post, Warner looked really good against the Bucs in their preseason game the other night.  I think Warner could do fine this year.  Preseason means nothing, and he was playing hurt all last year.

Warner went 7-7 in the opening drive against Tampa\'s starting D, not a bad showing at all.  Of course they didn\'t play Faulk, he\'s starting his decline.  And to my surprise the Rams D played really well last night.  I\'m interested in seeing how they do this year.

Preseason means nothing.  The Rams defense looked good last night, yes, but in preseason, anyone can look good.

yeah I know preseason means nothing, but it can sometimes give you a good look at a player coming back from injury.  Just remember the Redskins preseason last year, and look how their season went.

One thing I love about you guys is that you are some of the worst football prognosticators on the internet.  It\'s funny reading last years stuff and seeing how little that virtually any of you said panned out.

And yes, preseason means abslutely nothing.  They evaluate talent.  They don\'t use really any good plays. They don\'t do any game planning.  It\'s absolutely useless.  If the owners truely need two more home games to make ends meet then lets just make the season 18 games and make preseason 2 games.  Talent in the 4th team is so diluted who cares how they perform at the end of the 4th quarter anyway.

My picks last year weren\'t too awful.  I picked both Super Bowl teams to win their divisions, more than half my playoff picks made it.  My Superbowl pick was the Eagles, and they made it to the NFC title game.

Check out the post season stuff.  Actually I may not even be referring to you.  I don\'t remember who said what.  Other than of course the homer Swifdi who obviously predicted great things for the 49ers.  Doh..  Also I remember no one giving any credit to the bucs.  Every game it was just a fluke. Even though they smoked every team in the playoffs.

The Bucs won me money in the Super Bowl.  Defense DOES win championships.

Well, you were only a year early, which isn\'t too bad.

Hah, well obviously I\'m gonna ride my Niners like a train. But in all honesty I watch football on Sundays from sunrise to sunset, I see players, I see teams, I see coaching. I made some decent calls last year, and although I have no proof here I told all my friends how Vick would be taken out this year.

EDIT: I\'ll do division by division like theomen-

NFC West: Niners
The Rams will not win this division. I don\'t care if Warner went 7 for 7 against the Bucs, they were primarily short dump off passes, and I\'m not convinced that he\'s back. They\'re defense is extremely leaky and the Niners still have the same offensive weapons that have proven to be consistent, and a young (and very fast) defense only getting better. The Seahawks should give the Niners a run for their money, but still have to prove they can stop the run and put pressure on QB\'s. The Cardinals are going to be the worst team in the NFL.

NFC South: Buccaneers
Bucs are virtually the same team. There haven\'t been an significant offseason events that have shown that any other team in the NFC South can take them down. The Falcons probably won\'t fall too hard without Vick, but it\'s still gonna hurt. The Saints just have to shape up that defense, and the Panthers are a mess at quarterback.

NFC North: Vikings
Possibly the worst division, the Vikings finished the season by turning heads. The defense clamped down, and the offense produced behind new star back Michael Bennett. Unfortunately the Viks will be without Bennett this year, but veteran Moe Williams has proven to be a reliable second back and Onterrio Smith is a rookie who shares similar characteristics to Bennett. The Bears won\'t go anywhere because they lack a consistent running game, and the choke-master Kordell Stewart. Lions will continue to improve, but not make much more than a dent in the NFC North. And the Packers are on a steady decline, with injury prone backs, perhaps Favre\'s last year, and a weak supporting cast behind Donald Driver amongst the recieving corps.

NFC East: Eagles
The Eagles could possibly lose Staley, but Buckhalter is just as good, if not better a back. McNabb is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and the Philly\'s defense is still as stingy as ever. I don\'t see the Giants repeating simliar success, they have too many holes in their secondary, and that Niners comeback just makes me wonder if the Giants ever have a game in which they\'ve "sealed the deal". Cowboys are going to be pretty pathetic, Parcells can\'t even change that; they have perhaps the worst passing game, the only light shinin from their star would be from young Troy Hambrick, besides that, they\'ll be horrible. The Redskins will not benefit from Trung Candidate and will miss Stephen Davis sooner than expected... Laverneus Coles will help, but this team never seems to be good when they\'re expected to impress.

AFC West: Chiefs
I think Vermeil is shapin this team out to be his old Superbowl Rams with a star running back, decent recieving options, and the only question mark is Trent Green. If Green can emerge as one of the AFC\'s top passers, this team will have a lethal offense. The Raiders hit their summit last season, and from here it\'s all downhill, I\'m lookin for some injuries to either Rice, Gannon, or Garner to really set their season on a spiral. Broncos will realize Jake Plummer is not the answer, and the Chargers really have to fix that secondary.

AFC South: Titans
The Titans are a good team because they\'re great in the clutch. McNair\'s experience will really take them far, and if George can stay healthy then things get even better. The Colts should be better, but still have questions concerning their secondary... Texans will enter their sophomore year as an expansion team and should show a little promise, but nothing great. The Jaguars are missing depth at WR, and Brunell is beginning to show some age.

AFC North: Browns
Announcing Holcomb as the starting QB can only mean good thigns for the Browns. Holcomb revived this offense and turned 4 regular guys into star recievers (Northcutt, Davis, Morgan, Johnson). William Green ended on a pretty good note, and should continue running like a top back. The Steelers will be good, but they have to get Zereoue in, and Bettis out. The Ravens are another mess at quarterback, and will look to ride on Jamal Lewis\' coattails... And well the Bengals should improve on offense, but their defense still needs another year under Marvin Lewis in order to show true promise.

AFC East: Dolphins
Dolphins really took it up a notch on defense by adding Junior Seau. They should be a tough team to put points up against and have the league\'s top rusher in Ricky Williams. The Jets are a mess at offensive line, and Pennington will have a difficult time staying safe in the pocket, and well LaMont Jordan and C-Mart splittin carries might either turn out to be beneficial or it could hurt, and Curtis Conway never seems to be healthy. The Bills acquired Takeo Spikes, but they still have question marks on their defense. The Patriots have a crap run game, but should be a relatively decent threat.

NFC Champ: Niners
Probably a longshot, but I never doubt my team.

AFC Champ: Titans
Pretty uniforms.
