Being a ps2 fanboy specifically is only related in that it\'s the same bullshit transferred to a different console...
people judge everything before they\'ve even played it and then come to these boards vehemently against something they have no experience with.... I cannot even count how many times I\'ve seen the console war posted in various forms... it\'s pure craziness.

We have these wars about X-box and PS2 and Gamecube and it\'s all BS. I don\'t get it. If you haven\'t played it,  then don\'t offer an opinion.

For all you PS2 fanboys.... I have both a Gamecube and a PS2 and I like them both equally; imagine that.... EQUALLY.

Jesus, I hate everything.

It\'s Still Shit

Like i said if you read my post

you can buy a bloody great phone + a bloody Great handeld (the GBA SP plus games) for a fraction of the price of the N-gage.

N-gage = over priced, over rated peice of crap

in Short the N-gage got what it deserved at E3.

Yes, I KNOW that I can buy them separately, but that\'s the entire point...

I\'m buying it because I need a new phone, and I want the damned thing.
Will it be my only gaming console? No.

But it will be a nice advantage to have a more advanced gaming system on my phone so I\'m not stuck with that Snake game for the rest of my life - even those of you who hate it must admit that it\'s a step up from SNAKE!

But don\'t you think the price was a bit Steep?

You could of got a high end picture phone or even a 3rd gen video phone.

Seems a bit excessive esp for the quality of games you get on it.

oh yeah
Good luck in having to remove the battery when you want to change games. ;)

Ride R Die, you are totally circumnavigating the point. Sure its a step up in technology etc etc. But for the price, you can own both a kickass phone and a much better gaming system than the N Gage will ever be. First of all the GBA or SP already has a boatload of games with many more to come. Its a dedicated gaming console. I firmly believe that the n gage will not be as supported either. Gamers dont buy phones to game the buy game machines to play games.

And how can you say that we are all fanboys from this discussion? Think about it real hard and in the end, you really cant. The only advantage that the N Gage has is that its an all in one machine and thats not even always great. So please, I dont mean to flat out disrespect you, but think before you post and come with a more than mediocre argument.

If he can get it, so what?  It\'s his money. Just don\'t buy an Xbox with it. :p

NCAGE gonna suck. Here\'s why:

(1) Phone lovers hate the N-CAGE design. Almost everybody who don\'t play games but use a mobile i asked hated the 3300 design(same as N-Cage). I wanted to get a 3300(for it\'s MP3 function) but changed my mind coz realized it doesn\'t have any second hand value if I want to upgrade my phone next time because people simply hated the design!

(2) People with mobile play games as way to kill time..waiting in q, on bus, train etc, not as serious gaming option. Who cares how much processing power is there in the N-Cage. I have some good fun with my simple Java games on Nokia 6100 while idling. Does the job perfectly.

(3) It gonna suck batteries dry...FAST. I think most people will hate the idea of re-charging their phone everyday coz they suck it dry playing games....compared to the number of hours the GBA can provide...and WITHOUT sucking ur mobile battery. It\'s just not pratical.

(4) People who upgrade their phone every 6 months will not be investing a lot in the software coz they\'ll sell their machine soon.

(5) People who use a phone mainly for phone function don\'t give a shit about 3D processing power and games blah-blah.

There\'ll always some minority who\'ll find the All-in-one functionaility of the N-Cage attrative but I believe it just doesn\'t hit the right crowd...in masses.

If i ever wanted a mobile gaming device(which I don\'t), I\'ll go with the GBA or wait for the PSP.

Boys.
As I have said , I have owned a prototype of this since february.
it not shit. Infact it quite awsome. The graphics are far better that I could ever have imagined. It pretty much playstation 1 quality in some of the games. And the N-gage is feature packed. Sicne it support Java you can have pretty much whatever on the phone.
Here is what my n-gage currenmty contain.
-1 whole southpark episode (realOne player comes pre installed)
-1 full album (AAC fomat... It does support MP3 aqs well)
-2 games (inc Tonyhawk..really smooth game)
-Some java application I installed. (stock market updates etc)
-FM radio captures (yes you can record from the buil in radio)

I am telling you, its a sweet little thing....
Real men don\'t do backups
