You dont and can\'t. This is just a situation where 2 good QBs (your may or may not think Warner is good, but for you to say he isn\'t, I would have liked you watch his preseason games and the entire game vs the Giants before reading off some stats you found in the newspaper about how he fumbled this many times etc) are on the same team. Next year Bulger becomes a free agent. So its sign Bulger to a much larger contract, and trade Warner at his request, or release Bulger and keep Warner. I think you know what they will choose.
Warner was given one game this season. But I still believe something odd happened in the first half. The difference between his play in the first and second half was night and day. 6 fumbles in the first half. None in the second even though he was hit 3 more times. Concussion? Probably not. He probably was just seeing birds around his head after getting hit so many times in the first half. But if that article is true, that truly is one of the most dirty ways to rid yourself of a QB I have ever seen. Totally spineless on Martz part.
I guess the Ram organization can just look past how Warner outperformed Bulger in training camp and preseason, how Martz awarded him the job and Warner goes 23-26 in the preseason. How Warner took the team to 2 superbowls. But they put their faith in a guy that has played 10 games, and only 3 of them were against decent teams (Last year\'s Raiders, Seahawks, and this year\'s Seawks.) He lost 2 of those games.
I\'m not sold on Bulger unless he can take us deep into the playoffs, which will be a true test.
