Things that ruin a movie experience...

"Biggest thing that ruins going to theatres:

black people"

You guys may be pretending to joke about that but its rather ignorant to be so bias against a race.  I\'ve been in movie theaters where white people were rude in loud talking etc.

BTW,  I know deep inside you feel all black people are all loud talking etc,  which isnt very smart...please drop the stereotypes...your judging people by the color of their skin..its rediculous

And I know that black boy whipped your butt in elementary or your so intimidated by them you fear them,  and you hide behind a monitor and say this but wouldnt dare say it in front of them.  listen,  get over the whippin the black boy gave you and move on

Yeah...he was joking in a serious tone. You know....the sort of joke that has some a dash of insult thrown in.

Kinda like saying "Dude, your girlfriend is ugly! JUST KIDDING!"

I know what he meant. You know....when you say "J/K" sorta makes you immune.

How about him saying "disruptive" black people,  not just black people.  Just saying black people means every black person is disruptive at movie theaters.    That is just ignorant.  To make matters worst,  I guess he doesnt mind disruptive "white" people?

And what also bugs me is that people who say comments like that usually have a grudge against who they say it about.

I\'m sick and tired of every character in an action movie being a black belt, I miss the John Wayne type of fights

Very true.

When I first read his comment I was like, "What a dick."

But I just figured it was a little dick guy ragging on another race to make himself feel better.

But it wasn\'t worth the time to rant for a page.

Though this isn\'t as widespread as the stupid cell phone issue Vid brought up, which is also mind-numbingly annoying, but it does happen from time to time -- when the projector, or the person working the projector, somehow screws up and the movie loses sound or the reel suddenly ends.  It\'s happened to me on a couple of occasions.  I remember when I was about nine years old and my family and I went to a local drive-in to watch Star Trek VI on the big screen and had to wait 3 hours after the sun had set just because they were having projector problems.  Pretty stupid, but that\'s the biggest foul up I can remember in my movie going experience.

I guess the theatre food is pretty terrible and overpriced to boot.
Don\'t you ever touch my cape.

Had that happen, got a couple free movie passes from it.

Cell phones still top the list though. Brought a girl with me one time who decided it was appropriate to answer he cell and continue to talk to the person on the other side.  Very embarassing.  Almost left her at the theater for that one.
Wrong. There are two other people who can.
