Let\'s not be too harsh with our judgement here. Unless yer a vegetarian, you can\'t be too critical of what the Japanese do. It\'s their culture. In India, they revere the cow and would never think of harming one. The way we view the slaughter of dolphins is similar to how they view us at McDonalds.

Cultural differences. It\'s okay for most of them but for us, it\'s disgusting. Just keep that in mind.

Yes, the dolphins are intelligent animals. But did you know that the pig is among the highest intelligent creatures in this planet? It ranks up there with chimps, dolphins, ravens and and dogs. Actually, pigs are more intelligent than dogs.

But bacon tastes good and aren\'t as cute as dolphins. It seems we prefer to eat non-cute animals.

DOLPHINS ARE ALSO NEARING EXTINCTION FOR GODS SAKE!!!What does dolphin slaughtering have to do with their culture btw?

Also......just because killing pigs and cows for consumption is something that happens in our everyday lives would that mean an excuse for slaughtering dolphins?Lets leave it as it is eh?Intead of leaving our conscience to judge we happen to excuse everything just because its common or just because they are written in papers we call LAW.

Your reaction is very common to people outside of Japan and Iceland. It\'s what they do. Native Americans also used to hunt down whales until Western laws were enforced upon them. What this has to do with culture....is that it\'s ~in~ their culture to eat dolphins. That\'s the point. The law was to keep the number of slaughters down, but not to completely stop the consumption of dolphins and whales.

BTW....those dolphins are not near extinction.

Actually I am a vegitarian. But not because of Animal rights just because I vomit at the taste of any meat/fish/poultry. You could say I`m a natural born non-killer. Dolphin is not part of mans natural diet. Culling Dolphins because they eat fish is bollocks.

The lets kill Dolphins because they eat fish attitude stinks.

Would a lets kill the Japanese because they eat fish attitude stink any less?

Yeah they are not near extinction so perhaps they should keep slaughtering them until they become.Just like what happened with whales.
