Man I hate that idea though... Chances are I\'ll probably do the same, but my main priority will be to pay for the car myself upfront.

Get a good job..  I make roughly two payments a month on mine.  Figure I may as well get ahead while I have money in case I one day get fired or something.

I only have one car payment though.  Other car is paid off.

Since you are a fellow stang owner Ace here is a question (anyone else can answer it if they want)...

I had my windows tinted yesterday, but the newer mustangs have that "dot matrix" stuff on the upper part of the back window and the tint film does not like to stick to it.  Have you had this problem?  Some solutions I have seen are sanding the dots off (not an option) or getting a peice of black vinyl and having it placed over the dots...  has anyone heard of this?

I\'ve heard about this on some of the boards. I think sanding is the option I have heard of most. Let me search it it out and I\'ll post my findings here.

Here is the vinyl solution:

Ok here is the lowdown on the tinting and the vinyl.

Tint will not stick CORRECTLY to the dot matrix on the inside of the rear windshield. This becomes highly visible from the outside of the car. So to fix the situation you cover the dot matrix from the outside of the windshield with black vinyl (like a sticker). Then all that people see from the outside of the car is nice tinted windows all the way up to the black vinyl strip. It will all blend really nicely.

Ace is that correct?  Place it on the outside?  That doesn\'t sound right...  Thanks for the research btw! :)

Some people say on the outside and some say on the inside. Depends on who you talk to.

No problem. I go through Mustang withdrawals during the winter while my car is parked.

I would think the outside.  Nothing different than everyone putting vinyl lettering on their front windshields.  Who didn\'t have Oakley on their front windshield as a kid?
