I\'ve just asked around the office to check that I wasn\'t going mad but they don\'t seem to know the English language themselves at this website.
I know I\'m from the South of England, the land of cockneys and the missing letter \'t\' at the ends of words, but I\'m certain that\'s wrong.
Here\'s the question :
The professor gave the most difficult problems to Andrea and _______.
"me" is correct. Sentences like that can be broken down to :
"The professor gave the most difficult problems to
ME."
You don\'t say
The professor gave the most difficult problems to
I.
You got it confused with sentences like this :
"Andrea and
I were given the most difficult problems."
Coz when you break this down it is :
"
I was given the most difficult problems."
You don\'t say "Me was given......"
