It doesn\'t really matter if he knows what he\'s doing or not. For what it\'s worth, he could have had over 100 years worth of experience working with crocodiles, and it wouldn\'t change the fact that when you are dealing with a wild animal, you can never know for sure what it will do next. If he wants to put his life at risk, whether it\'s dicking around with crocodiles, or sticking his arm down a dark hole filled with rattle snakes, so be it, but to put the safety of a child at risk is downright unacceptable. If it were up to me, I\'d seriously consider removing that kid from such an environment, even if it means taking it away from it\'s parents.
With wild animals, you just can\'t afford to take the risk, there is no way of knowing what they will do next.
