Apparently in bid to make the actors and actresses feel more comfortable during the shower scene,  Verhoven got naked himself and ordered the entire crew to do the same.

He does that a lot, getting in on the act. In the nightclub scene in Robocop he was dancing like a lunatic trying to get everyone else going, they turned the camera on him and used a tiny bit of it in the finished movie.

You know the bit just after Leon Nash kicks Robocop in the plums and there\'s a \'dong\' sound, one of the next shots is an extreme close-up of a loon dancing for about a second, just a head and shoulders shot, that\'s Verhoven!!

It was bloody, decently funny, had action, nudity, and violence? it was just a lame popcorn flick.

I only saw Starship Troopers on TV (gotta get the DVD). What is this shower scene in it? I\'m definitely gonna see this in theaters. I always thought they left you hanging in the end. Actually, just recently I saw it again on FX and thought it would be cool to do a sequel during the war. Looks like its gonna happen :)

Over-rated. Just as Robocop is over-rated.  I don\'t care if he was trying to make a social statement with either film, they was both piss-poor.
