If I were you, I would start searching the Mustang forums. I\'m sure someone else has encountered this problem and could give you good advice.
If it were me, I would just put in an aftermarket headunit. You can get one that has more features than the OEM unit, such as the ability to play MP3 CDs. Of course you\'ve got an iPod, so maybe you don\'t need that.

One of the features that is not hard to find on aftermarket headunits is an auxiliary input. That would certainly solve your problem. Good luck.
