Haggis? Was this recipe concocted by Gollum? Who the hell cooks things inside a sheep\'s stomach and then eats it?

pfft that\'s nothing.

Around my parts we have our version of Haggis, sheep blood pudding cooked in a a sheeps stomach.

Svið, even more grusome, is basically just a sheeps head, eyes and tongue considered especially good.

Hrútspungar, sheeps balls, I kid you not in the old times people didn\'t waste good food so they ate everything.

Hákarl, sour shark bits

and more goodies

Tripe is awesome but only the Chinese dim sum versions...

Anyone ever have or even heard of Swallow\'s Nest?

Extremely expensive; Costs several hundred $$$ for a few ounces...

Its an actual nest built by swallows (duh) and is a gourmet Chinese item.
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

America is not without its share of weird foods.

Anyone ever had chittlins(chitterlings)? Its basically cleaned seasoned and boiled pig intestines. I had it before I knew what it was and it tasted pretty good. Especially with liberal amounts of hot sauce. Now that I know what it is the smell usually makes me dry heave.

America\'s is quite few in comparison. Look, no one goes to the UK for its fine cuisine. Not even Brits, Scots, Irish, Celts....hell, even the Vikings stopped invading. The food is bland. That\'s why their favorite dish there is curry! And that Indian cuisine! :p

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.
