First of all he was 17 at the time. He was only 2 years older than her. They were probably in the same damn class.

What does going from 15 to 16 makes you really more mature huh:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

She was old enough to know she wanted to have sex. Kids in highschool don\'t think about laws. WTF that is rediculous I could see if he had graduated from highschool and had taken advantage of her.

But come on she knew what the hell she was doing. If it was the other way around nobody would give a ****. This makes no sense I feel sorry for the kid.

I don\'t feel sorry for him at all.  The law is the law.  This has nothing to do with whether he had consent - he obviously did.  The guy was 18 in this last incident not 17.  It doesn\'t matter if you are 1 day shy of your 21st birthday, if the place is law abiding you will not get served alcohol.  As the stupid cliche goes, close only counts in horsehoes and hand grenades.  

Gman, being stupid and making stupid decisions are two different things.  Fifteen year olds are not known for having the best judgement.  Why do you think there are so many teen pregnancy issues in this country?  Also this incident happened IN SCHOOL?  Now this is what is wrong with the education system today.

Then again at least we don\'t live in Australia where guys play weenie tag in the shower with each other after gym class. ;)

Then you\'ll have to place 70% of the students in prison for 10 years. I\'ve seen shorter terms for drunk drivers who killed people in accidents. Yes, drunk driving was bad judgement but he got 2 years for taking a life. They\'re adults, they know better. A 17 year old boy had sex with a 15 year old girl who wanted his beef stick in her sammich. He goes to jail for 10 years?

Uh....ya know....how about a one month suspension like the other white kids get.

You are a complete moron. So the law can differentiate between a knowing and willing human being old enough to make sound choices choosing to  having sex!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey QuDDus your village is calling and wants their idiot back.  It is the law so it does make it right... for now at least.  I am sorry you can\'t comprehend the basis and fundamentals of our society and the laws that protect minors no matter what stupid choices they make, but yes he broke the law and the that is the sentence.  

Also try and understand why he was convicted - IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH CONSENT.  Are you a pedophile Quddus?  You sure sound like one.  Why don\'t you grow up - yeah I know you are 23 or 24, but you don\'t know $hit and it shows.  How the hell can you say that a 15 year old can make a sound choice about having sex!?!?!?!?!?!  pffft...   :rolleyes:

You my friend are one sick individual I feel very sorry for you. The kid is not a pedophile he was in highschool to. The choice she made is that she wanted sex. In these day and ages she is old enough to know if she wants sex or not. They were both in highschool. I could see if he force his self on her or got her drunk.

Secondly, I don\'t appreciate your attempt to label me as a racist.  It shows your lack of intelligence and the desperate and weak nature of your arguement.  I don\'t care if he was white, black or asian, he still broke the law regarding a minor.  I am done talking about this - the guy is in jail, whether he stays there or not I don\'t care - I would bet he learned his lesson regarding the age of women.

1. The law he was convicted of had nothing to do with consent.

2. The law he was convicted of was enacted to punish child molestors.

3. The law has never been used against someone who was 2 years older than the evictim.

4. He is in jail on a "technicality". If the girl was not a virgin he would not be in jail. Plain and simple.

5. The prosecutor is a dick.

Some of you people have a hard time withdrawing your simple little minds from whats right and whats wrong. Why don\'t they throw all the other guys in high school that banged any of the girls under 18 in jail too, it\'d only be fair, and by the way all the guys that did it before now too, so how many of us would be going to jail?
