Ok, well he may have knew what was wrong, but the only reason he was caught, was cuz some WHITE girl, and I\'m saying this being WHITE, let him stick his pecker in her and then ran and said he raped her. He didn\'t get caught he was told on, first the girl lied so therefore in most STATES he would have been acquitted on any of the charges because the girl was a lieing bitch.

He was acquitted of rape. The problem is that the prosecutor also charged him with a crime that (technically) he was guilty of but was not used for its originally intended purpose.

mm and Giga, you don\'t think it\'s f*cked up that the only reason he is in jail is because the girl was a virgin? He was charged with "sexual activity with a child resulting in injury" ONLY because she was a virgin.

Of all the people who SHOULD be in jail, he is not one of them. Anyone who says otherwise is just wrong.

What is it about being 18 that suddenly makes someone competent enough to think for themselves?

In some countries you would get your hand cut off for stealing a slice of bread to feed your starving family. Does that make it right? No. But the punishment should(at the very least) fit the crime. Serving 10 years in prison for deflowering someone, who is 1-2 years younger than you, during consentual sex is not a fitting punishment. I don\'t know how you can even argue otherwise.

I really don\'t understand how someone can argue an 18 year old having sex with a 15 year old is ok.  Granted the punishment is harsh, but when I was 18 years old in high school I wasn\'t cruising the freshman/sophmore class for chicks to f***.  It wasn\'t right then and it isn\'t right now.  It certainly wasn\'t common place for kids who were 15 years old to be having sex back in the mid 80\'s.  Sure it happened, but most of you are trying to justify what the guy did by saying it happens all the time in high school - and you all wonder what is wrong with our society.

Hey, people are made to have sex when they are that young, there is no reason for it to be considered wrong...

Dude I don\'t know how high school girls in the mid 80\'s were(seeing as how I was barely in kindergarten); but nowadays girls mature very fast. I know for damn sure that I could post pictures of girls over and under 18 that you could not tell are legal or not. I have family younger than 16 who EASILY pass for 18+.

BTW, We ALL know that underage sex is what is wrong with society today. Especially since it has never happened before this generation.

I believe a 15 year old is capable of knowing if they want to have sex. However, the law is the law. I\'m not dumb enough to break it, even if there is a lot of 15 year olds I\'d like to bang.

Nah Phil, my city (state really) takes the gold in teen sex. We lead the country in teen pregnancy and STD\'s amongst teenagers. One day at school I was walking around and I saw 3 new pregnant chicks. Not trying to be racist, but all were mexican and they all looked like the same person practically. It all comes down to education, and Nevada is ranked nearly dead last in that.

this law was not meant for teenagers. It was meant for grown men who are perverts.

And the law can\'t factor a girl willingly wanting to have sex with her teenage boy friend.

The kids was an athelete and a 4.0 student almost sad to see something like this fall on him.

But there girl aparently told him her father was a racist and would kill both of them if he saw them together.

I would have left her alone once she told me that if I was him.
I guess sex has that kind of power on kids.
