Da Vinci could draw really realistic looking faces. When he and his "master" (?) were doing a painting, Da Vinci painted the face of an angel (he used oil paint instead of the cant-remember-the-name paint everyone else was using), his master was so impressed that he let Da Vinci paint the faces of all the characters from then on, and he was so impressed (or hurt by Da Vinci owning him) that he quit painting himself.
Did they actually build his siege machines? I though he just drew them but they never got built.
Have you seen his machine that is built for chopping the legs of the enemies? Pretty neat.
He wasted a lot of time "trying" to build that huge ass bronze statue of the horse for his lord.
