Are you seroius? Most of those movies cater to kids in high school or college. If you\'re trying to prove a point, prove more than 30% of it.

Why are movies like LOTR, Big Fish, and Monster part of the list but not Bounce, Butterfly, and Somethings gotta Give? What makes those movies targeted at kids?

And the comment about movies for 30 yr old white guys who have jobs and pay taxes was directed only at myself, \'cos that\'s what I am. Interesting that you all assumed I was baggin\' on the brothers & sisters. I was only expressing disgust at irresponsible youth in general.

But of course you had to add the fact that you are white? Of course i understand it wasnt to distiguish yourself from others, brother:rolleyes: ;)

Gohan is always right please refrain from making yourselves look like asses when trying t argue against him. Ty.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

And what exactly makes you think they target 30 yr old white men? That\'s right .....

There are movies out there that target them(hard to tell how), but there are ones that target blacks and teenagers hardcore.

Bounce = Very naive movie with a stupid premise.

Butterfly Effect = This has Ashton Kutcher and obviously delivers to the whole MTV generation.

Somethings Gotta Give = Romantic comedy for 30 year old women.

The fact that the average age of all movie viewers is 30ish with the majority being male. When a movie studio is targeting a black/latin/teen audience(niche) you know it as soon as you see a couple of the cast members. When I saw a commercial for "You got served" I knew who they were trying to get just like when I saw a commercial for "Cold Mountain". Its the same lucrative market that everyone targets. 18-45 yo white males.

Dude what are you talking about? If anything all of the movies are targeting young minorities. You Got Served is a perfect example. Majority of teenagers, black, latino and even white, will fall for anything involving some hip hop music and people moving on a screen fast.

All we\'re doing now is playing with stereotypes... When I stereotype an "average 30 year old, white male" I\'m thinking a little blue-collared and experienced.

Movies are targeting stupid teenagers. The End.

Cold Mountain I\'ll give you just because he is from the south. Even that is pushing it.

Lets think logically here. White people outnumber blacks probably 10 to 1. Would you be suprised if there are 10 times more white people in movies than blacks?

Call me crazy but in this case your sounding pretty racist.
