It\'s a bit different living with a gay couple for a while and being adopted at 6 months and not knowing any different.

Ever instance I\'ve seen of gay parenting the parents raise the kid to be in touch with themselves and know what they want and who they are.  It is FAR more likely a gay person with straight parents will try to be straight than a straight person with gay parents trying to be gay.

it\'s one thing to be told once bla bla bla but then seeing two people of the same sex kissing every other day.

I\'m not saying it definatly would happen but a possiblity.

So if you lived in an orphanage and Racer and Samwise wanted to adopt you,There would be no problem. (JK)

The only reason the kid would be more likley to be gay is because he wasn\'t taught to hate gay people....

It\'s like, there would be a lot more gay people today if society didnt look down on it so much....

And i dont see this as a negative, it doesn\'t harm anyone.

I had a couple of Lesbo neighbors who had kids from a test tube, nothing wrong with them in fact they had twins a boy and a girl, it\'s there life, I have a couple gay managers where I work now and they are no different than any of us mind the fact that they like the other sex no matter if it is wrong religiously, whoever said religions were always right to begin with?

Man thats a joke. At least in this town. We have "FIRST CHRISTIAN ALLIANCE" meetings, that you get extra credit if you attend. They have posters everywhere. Also we have a teacher Mrs. Griffin, and this may seem rude and crude but ever so true; you shouldnt have a sign that says "Pray to God for Mrs. Griffin" posted in the school, with all the First Christian Alliance members signatures, and a big picture of Mr. Christ on it.

I think homosexuals (Politically correct term ;) ) should be allowed to have children on one key thing; it must be their egg/sperm. Adoptation seems a bit odd, because what kid would wants gay parents? If its their own flesh and blood, nature will tend to the love, and they will care for eachother. Or just be suicidal. Lets hope for the better.

I really don\'t think having gay parents is as difficult for the child as you\'re all making it out to be.

I say give it to them.  Frankly I\'m tired of the gay card being pulled making them feel invincible.  This would level things a lot more.

I think \'marriage\' is for heterosexuals only, but I think a similar \'union\' with the same rights, policies etc would be ok. The whole concept of \'marriage\' is a union between a man and a women, nothing else. This isn\'t to say I disagree with them having the same rights and privelages as everyone else, i just don\'t think it should be called \'married\'.

I also dissagree with them having children. If they were born gay, then that means they were born with the inablity to procreate. It certainly shouldn\'t be against the law, but I don\'t think they should be allowed to adopt as a couple.

I agree with you LIC. A child would be more accepting of homosexuality, but if someone was really born straight, then it wouldn\'t matter. I mean, for someone like yourself who is truly heterosexual, is it that easy for you to change and become gay? It works both ways. I still think however that a child needs both a male and female parent, not just influence.
