y\'know looking at some of the dates some are well over half of the 21st century,..i can\'t help but wonder what technology will be like. When i was young i would always say stuff like "i know in the year 2000 there will flying cars & such" but we\'ve only reached the tip of the iceberg. even though i feel we\'ve made great strides on a technical level space shuttle, mars,..i\'ve even seen on the science channel they had this type of security that reads the retina of the human eye! heh i thought stuff like that exists only in sci-fi joints!
Also i feel that 3rd world countries will still be in the state that they\'re in. And tho i feel there are rogue states & countries that shouldn\'t have certain types of weapons i think it will still come down to a type of tolerance & understanding of ones culture on the u.s. side of it. ultimately tho i figure man will destroy himself well before what is recited in the bible or before the sun expires.
it will only be a matter of time before we see another hitler or some type of madman to expose himself. well maybe not to the point of his characture but surely someone with wordly ambitions. If you really think about it, it\'s kind of alarming knowing that the only thing that\'s keeping the nuclear war heads in place is computers. i know there has to be other safeguards in place, but bottom line thats it. sometimes i feel man places too much faith in technology,.almost to the point where everything stops if there\'s some type of technical flaw...anybody remember that y2k nightmare?
