Shenmue...

Still waiting for #3...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Shenmue 1 was golden. I deeply enjoyed the 11 fight sequences and the long waits for a certain period of a day in order to complete a required task. The pop ups from 5 feet infront of you were an excellent touch too.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

It amazes me people eat up the GTA series, even though it features a bad frame-rate, terrible control and bad car physics. What exactly is so appealing about that? Oh, I forget you get to kill hookers.

Its the freedom of the game. The violence, the origionality, its just a kickass series.
Think for yourself. Question authority.

Jesus Spudz, just give it up like you did in the lotr thread. It\'s getting really pathetic and incredibly annoying how you try to flame me and fail MISERABLY everytime. Almost harassment.

Anyone with a shred of brain material could of realized that I was joking.

Ok, hypothetically, let\'s say I wasn\'t joking. I denounced a game, which I have admitted to be an enormously enjoyable series in the past, simply because I cannot pronounce the name properly. THAT JUST MAKES A LOT OF ****ING SENSE MAN.

I also noticed you tried refuting something LIC said, which is pointless since he could shit on a Mars bar and it would be far more intelligent than you. You sound like you\'re in dire need for some guidance, so I\'ll give you some. When you see me, LIC, or anyone post and you disagree or find some flaw in it, just leave it alone. You\'ve become a sad little novelty of this forum recently.

I\'m going to say this one time. Spudz, leave the insults out of the \'Main Forum\'. This is not the place for your little antics. Trust me, this will be discussed in the Staff Forum if you continue to do it. It\'s getting old and now your ruining perfectly good topics.

Violence is not original. It\'s been done in every form of entertainment. It also does not always equal good fun. If it is pulled off with grace, then yes, but when the gameplay has fundmental flaws such as control / graphics, then the violence only serves to distract the player from the obvious flaws of the game\'s engine..

I for one enjoyed all the GTA games, and if this one is a significant step forward, I\'ll be definately buying it. I\'ll probably end up buying it even if it\'s only a bit of an improvement.
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

Ok, so you don\'t like it. But you must be able to see that it must be a good game if so many people love it, even though you can\'t see the beauty of it. Just because you can\'t see something doesn\'t mean it isn\'t there.

Interesting Note: LiC\'s actual shit IS Mars bars. So if he were to hypothetically "shit on a mars bar" he would just be stacking two mars bars. Which could, in theory, be more intelligent than a human.

BTW, This intelligence is heightened by the presence of almonds. Of which you did not mention so I assume were not a part of the equation.

Don\'t confuse the collective mass of casual gamers with someone who has any taste in good games. I mean good god how many times do you see horrible games selling extremely well.  People are easily won over with gimmicks.  GTA got old fast and it didn\'t help that the gameplay seriously hindered any chance of enjoying the game.
Wrong. There are two other people who can.
Dark Lord Sith\'s.
Demon\'s named Phil.  -LIC

GTA is a 9.0 quality game. Overrated but still has it\'s moments. Let\'s leave it at that.
