Lightning wrap it up.  Guess they\'ll just kick back for a week till the Canadians are done with their thing.

Both game 7s tonight were very exciting.  I couldn\'t believe Calgary let Vancouver tie it up with 5 seconds left... but at least they won quick in OT.

I was really hoping Ottawa would beat those homos... I would have liked to see Rob Ray retire with a cup...

Oh well, at least he\'ll be back doing color commentary with Danny Gare here in Buffalo next year, (if there is a season...  )

I am also happy Calgary won - now the Avs face San Jose rather than Detroit :)

I guess a few Canadians found out we have a friggen team in Tampa.  I am going to laugh if Tampa gets the Stanley Cup.  They get just as little respect as the Bucs did two years ago.  The Lightning have won by a combined total of 16-5..

I\'d say that\'s some pretty damn good goal tending.    3 shut outs.   Maybe one of these days the team will be on a nationally televised game.

Um...Nabokov rocks, basically.

Detroit\'s tied up 1-1 with Calgary after that Game 1 disaster...we actually looked old in Game 1. Game 2 was a different story...Calgary never had a shot.

San Jose vs. Detroit in the Western Conference Finals, just wait for it :)

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

Lightning have scored now 19 goals to the opponents 6.

Not bad for only 7 games.   These games aren\'t even close.  Hopefully next round will be more fun to watch.

Vid? Cocky? Never thought I\'d see the day ;)

Flyers over Lightning in 6. Lightning are good, but for the Flyers, they\'re well past due.

I\'m not cocky.  Just can\'t believe not a single source thinks they have a shot.

BTW, Lightning tied the game 3-3 with 9 seconds left in the 3rd period.  Then smoked their asses one minute into OT.

Looks like it may be a sweep.  Hopefully they will lose Friday so they can win the series here in Tampa.

Although it\'s awesome listening to the change in the crowd.  Freaking awesome.

Oh, and btw, Lightning swept Philly in the regular season.

Yeah, and the Avs beat the Sharks 7-2 in their season series. Look what\'s happened there.

While the Lightning are kicking ass, the Red Wings are looking half dead...looking sluggish against a Flames team that they should know they\'re better than. Oh well...c\'mon Wings, rally!

Oh, and yes, you are cocky ;)

Calgary, Tampa Bay, Philly, or Colerado all have a shot, assuming they keep playing like they have been recently.

There you go vid.. I said that early, I think pre-round 1.  Obiously Tampa Bay is playing as well as they were or better, so they\'ve got a really good shot.  Calgary too... although I think the aged Detroit team just doesn\'t have the stamina....

Colorado might as well polish up the golf clubs...  Might as well cheer on Philly - we might not have hockey next year :(

Our ECHL team here folded as well - bummer.  On a postive note the youth hockey team I coach won the championship.
