Science Is Satanic!!!

Whell good evening everyone. There was this God discussion at another forum and I put together a half decent composition. At least I think so anyway and now I\'ll inflict it on you all . I hope there aren\'t any rules against posting God threads. It\'d suck if this bit me in the ass 3 seconds later.

Anyhoo, here\'s one thing that always bothered me since the start of my Christian indoctrination. The fruit of knowledge was responsible for bringing God\'s judgement on humanity. I know it\'s just a story and it shouldn\'t be taken literally, but the main message I got from this was God doesn\'t want humanity to learn, advance nor expand their horizons.

Now this leads me to a startling conclusion. In the story, Satan said God didn\'t want Eve to eat the fruit because she would become like God and God is extremely jealous. Today we can literally move mountains, hurl really heavy things into the heavens and keep it up there. We can alter the very strands of life as we see fit and today we are very close to "re-creating" life with life forms of our own (AI, Matrixy).

We continue to advance. Even with huge bumps like war, genocide, terrorism and what have you, we still continue to advance. It seems like there\'s no end to how far we can go. It\'s like humanity as a race is on it\'s becoming "God". Meanwhile, the real God has set a condition that if we don\'t submit to him, we\'d be punished for all eternity!

Was Satan right? Am I a Satanic SOB for indulging this trail of thought? A little something to scare the Rod and Tod types. ^_^ Hope I get some reactions and that I didn\'t waste my time saying all this.

Yeah, that was pretty stupid.

Ahm...dont give much attention to the bible.There are too many contrudictions when you comapre what was tought before Christ and was tought by Christ.

You shouldn\'t take what Satan says literally...hence why he\'s Satan.

Yes, the catholic church used to call science a tool of the devil and the people who learned it heretics.  

You know a guy named Galileo?  Well he proclaimed that the sun and not the earth was the center of our universe.  The church thought it was ridiculous God would place man anywhere other than the center of it all.  Galileo was put under arrest and proclaimed a heretic by the church.  Link

Eventually the Vatican proclaimed anyone who were adversaries of the church as Shaitan\'s...the root word of Satan.  Historically Satanists were educated people who stood against the false teachings of the church.  The rumors of of satanic black magic, animal sacrifices and the pentagram were lies spread by the church basically as a smear campaign.

Want to know where "Lucifer" came from? I\'m going to tell you anyway.

Luciferian Doctrine, or New World Order based on scientific enlightment. (Freemasons, look it up)  The church proclaimed Lucifer as a reference to the devil when it was intended as its literal Latin meaning...bringer of light.

Do some digging around and you\'ll also find that it was the church who claimed educated women as witches and burned them.

^There are many examples of this through the history of the church.  Basically anything that nullified the church\'s claim as the sole vessel through which man could understand God/Life was bullied into submission.  

This is not the case today...not entirely anyway.  I won\'t have anything to do with a house built on lies though:)
