Forum Rivalries

Because THX brought up a pretty good topic in another thread, I decided we could expand on it here.

Let\'s face it; the main point of forums is to discuss and argue various topics. Most times though, there is more arguing than discussion going on. And even more times, there is just plain bashing and flaming exchanged between various members here. Sometimes we will fight with a member, and later makeup, then fight with them again. Sometimes we will always fight, and sometimes there are members we will just refuse to argue with. That is what makes these forums great are the feuds and the drama that it brings.

So post some classic rivalries (I\'m sure there were many before I was here)

I\'ll post mine:

SwifDi/Vapor Snake/FreeStylah

vs.

Ryu: There has always been some tension between Ryu and I starting from my very first post. I think its because we are pretty much exact opposites if you measure us both up from every aspect, I am like the Anti-Ryu basically.

luckee: Boy oh boy! The drama definately escalated in the Ugh I\'m pissed threads when luckee pushed the envelope and really tested me to the point in which I had never despised someone over the freaking internet. Even before that we had many squabbles and it was obvious anytime we posted in the same thread it would turn into a flame war between the two of us. However now we\'re pretty much on neutral terms, largely due to his absence.

Spudz: Spudz just annoys me in general and sometimes just left himself out in the open for me to rag on him. At times when he posts rationally I can withstand it, but 80% of the time he says something stupid that I just can\'t let him get away with.

Living-In-Clip: LIC was very similiar to luckee as he loved to be there anytime my "hopeless romantic antics" came to a disastrous crash. Recently we\'ve became more tolerable with one another.

Bozco: Bozco was totally justified in the past when Vapor Snake was a tool... I\'ve skimmed old posts, and I could barely stomach them... Now I\'m totally cool with Boz and think he is one of the best members around these boards.

There are others that I can vaguely think of when we\'ve had some skirmishes (Gigashadow, Viper Fujax, ooseven).

Ok, now list yours.

Omen vs Titan;
it happend because the little bitch wouldn\'t clean his room.

Omen vs Sarah;
because I was too uber sexay

Omen vs Vapor;
because teh Lakers suck

Ah yeah, I remember that... You had the gayest Tazmanian Devil avatar... That was great because that was the year that Horry shot the killer; and the Lakers went on to beat the Kings.

god damn I hate Horry... I really, really hate him.

He\'s on the Spurs now... I think it would be so awesome if he did it again if the Kings and Spurs meet up... Haha... The Kings are still losers.

only one i remember was when i was still a lurker..clowd vs everybody...there was another person here that i remember not necessarily a rivialry but a member that i haven\'t seen in a long time..natuku i think..he used to have kazua from tekken as his avy..

I use to pick at Racer all the time.  It drove me freaking crazy that he posted a GT3 thread every single day.  He got his copy early and told everyone all about it.

Then when everyone else got their copies he pretty much acted like the game was no big deal.

Was annoying as hell.


Then their are all the religion threads.  I forget who all the idiots were in those things.

Definition of an idiot is anyone who doesn\'t believe in what I believe in.  

I remember clowd as being the most insane.




Hmmm...   Little squabbles I don\'t remember.  Oh, I remember when I had to bitch slap theomen because he forgot to bring over the lubricant.

Holy moley! No one mentioned me! Oh yeah! Most of my arguments have been with ooseven locking half my threads and deleting my replies. I still recall how he locked a thread regarding the American Revolution.  I should create another thread about it and see if he\'ll lock it again.

And then my arguments with mm about how he thinks only Protestants are Christians and not any other Christ worshippers. Obviously he\'s from the boonies of Pennsylvania.

And LIC and how we USED to argue about music sharing on the internet. He\'s finally come to the gray side of the issue, I\'ve noticed.

And Bozco....we argued about....uh....well...nothing.

Kurt Angle....nope.

Unic (you guys should look up the word "Eunuch") and his anti-American rhetoric. Boy, he\'s like the Cyprus version of Osama Bin Laden.

Oh what a thread - my list would be pretty long:

luckee - most recent - we are both hot headed and our posting style is similiar, though we disagree on just about everything.  The perfect recipe for conflict.

Sir Mystiq - totally different tastes and opinions.  One of the most misinformed people on here - but slowly he is becoming more knowledgible about current events and history.

Bozco - flies under the radar, then pops out and proceeds to judge you for a post, then disappears again.  The Vietcong of the forums he attacks then blends right back in to the jungle.

fastson - He will never admit that Sweden\'s welfare state is doomed to fail.

ooseven - for his incoherent ramblings about GWB and his administration.

I could add a few more from current events - but I have seen them in quite a while.  Nothing wrong with being on this list -
