NBA Playoffs... lets stick this suckah\'...

Lakers got "whooped" because the Twolves were backed up to a wall. They understood if they fell 2-0, the Lakers would easily bring out the broom.

I\'ve seen the Lakers annhilate the Wolves even with Cassell, so he really isn\'t much of a concern to me. Wolves cannot win at Staples.

I really want to see the Wolves knocked off at Minnesota. Those are the best to watch. :)

The lakers got whooped b/c MN is a better TEAM. Plain and simple. The lakers havent been a TEAM since the Magic show and that was often debatable.

Even though the Wolves were 3-1 in the regular season against the Lakers, and Cassell has barely been able to play at all this series?  And don\'t forget the TWolves backup PG who torched the Lakers last year, Troy Hudson, is also injured.

...and yet, the Wolves are still very much in this series...

I wouldn\'t be surprised, Bozco. We\'ve seen the type...blindly in love with the team, despite their flaws and their overall deterioration of the game as a whole. Doesn\'t really surprise me at all. I choose to ignore these fans...no real imput as far as I\'m concerned.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

Bah.... boo-hoo... So what if they lack that certain chemistry to reach your standard of "team". They may not slap each tohers ass after each play, go out and drink together, or gather around the locker room to sing Kumbayah... But when they get on the court, they get the job done.

Personally I liked the chemistry better when Payton and Malone weren\'t around, however even with it being very murky, the Lakers are still winning and proving that this, "team"-speculation isn\'t that important.

Also, the Wolves are one loss away from being on the ropes. Even you have to agree that there is no way they can come back from a 3-1 defecit. And they have to know the Lakers are going for the kill in Game 4 at Los Angeles.

I really hope the Pistons win this series, I think they are the only ones who can legitimately make the NBA Finals competitive.

Soon you will all come around... mwwwaahhahahahaha!

It\'s hard to explain why I have so much love for Detroit besides that they are my home team.  There style is quite boring from time to time, but the defense does it all for me.  Tayshaun is one example of a player who hasn\'t been talked about much but makes huge differences in a lot of games he plays in.  Everyone knows Detroit by Larry Brown and Ben Wallace, (recently Sheed).  These guys just work their a$$es off everynight and constantly remark about how they have the best home court advantage because of the fans.  This is why I live and breathe Piston basketball.

Yeah... this is the only series in the East that I can just sit and watch from 1st to the 4th quarter. Lots of energy.

Lots of energy and barely any scoring.  But I think that is how basketball should be played.  I don\'t think I have watched a Dallas Mav game for more than 4 minutes at a time this year because I hate senseless and blind basketball.

I think Detroit, despite the fact of their low offense, lead the league with alley-oop baskets by a great margin.

Here go the refs with hating Detroit again.  How many calls on Rasheed do we need to see before he actually knocks out the ref.  He hasn\'t commited but one of those fouls.  That is why the Pacers are battling back and have made it close.  The refs lost us 1 Jersey game and game one in Indy.  I am honestly sick of it.

EDIT:  I am sorry but there is 29.1 seconds left and Sheed put up a shot, in the replay his ENTIRE ARM gets raped by Oneal.  No call, thankfully ben was there for the put back.  Then as they are going to commerical, they want to get a shot of the Detroit bench after the score, and there is a ref staring at the play, the exact same one who has been calling bullshit all over Rasheed all day.  He needs to be fired for bias refing.
