Kobe Bryant is the best clutch player in the NBA. Reggie Miller\'s days are done.

If the Lakers can control the tempo like they did in overtime, they can take this series easily, however they need to keep up that intensity.

I was in the gym while watching the game, when Kobe hit that shot, I was very displeased.  The people in the gym told me that was the loudest vulgarity anyone had ever heard.

Well, for those who thought the East team had no chance... I think the Pistons are doing a pretty damned good job. Just like ViVi said, a win and an OT loss.... well almost 2 wins. But yeah, this is exciting basketball.

When they let kobe get the ball I knew it was over.  Kobe bryant is my favorite player but man I am all for my home team the pistons.

I knew he was going to make it.  That killed the pistons there was nothing left after that just god awful.

Tried of this shit.  Commentators are bias, refs are bias, and about 9/10ths of the USA is bias toward the Lakers.  As you can see, the Lakers are down by 6, Shaq gets it in the post, jumps and is not touched one bit... at all... not even a little... BY A MOTIONLESS rasheed wallace, foul is called...... Not that it wasn\'t the 4th or 5th time something like that happened during the game or anything, but the bottom line is, Shaq goes to the line and hits a FT.  Now it\'s a 3 point game... not a 4 like it should have been.  Pistons won that game and the series in my mind already..... but still... that game was stolen from Detroit and everyone is to afraid to admit it.  Shouldn\'t have ever been like that.  This series and entire officating crew is bullshit giving ever call from jesus to charles manson to Kobe and Shaq.  I\'m tired of seeing the Lakers ruin basketball into an offensive game.  I HATE LA.

At the end of regulation play, the idiotic commentators were debating whether Bryant\'s buzzer beater 3-pointer was the greatest buzzer beater in Laker history.  Questioning whether it eclipsed Fisher\'s shot, and others from previous years.  They neglected to mention that Bryant\'s shot wouldn\'t mean a damn thing if the Lakers didn\'t end up winning the game.  They spoke as if the game was already over, when it was actually tied, with a 5 minute overtime period ahead.

I am so ****ing sick of the favoritism the Lakers get from the press, the officials, and every other know-nothing nimrod across the nation.  

I predict that in a FAIR series, the Detroit pistons would eliminate the Lakers in six games or less.  They very nearly won twice on the Laker\'s home court, which should be viewed as a disgrace by any true basketball fan who claimed to support Los Angeles.  However, I believe the series is fixed, and David Stern\'s orders have already guaranteed another championship for the Fakers.

Next year guys, next year. These Lakers wont be together and a team with true sportsmanship will win.

Who says we have to wait for next year?  

And I fully agree, the favoritism shown to the Lakers by the officials especially is awful.  The foul calls down the stretch there were pathetic.

Why aren\'t there more people like you guys in the world.  

Look, I know I come off like a little whining b#$#@ when the Pistons lose, but I know what I saw.  A phantom call at the most crucial time in the entire game which sends Shaq to close it within 3.  I won\'t even mention all the calls that go Bryant and Shaq\'s way during the game either.  


Just one more comment:  Anyone remember Shaq ripping down Ben Wallace and headlocking him to the floor.  What did the commentators say directly following that action?  That shouldn\'t be called a flagrant foul.  Look I know diliberation when I see it, and that was it.  If you do a role reversal and have Ben Wallace headlockinh Shaq to the floor, I bet you my life those refs would have called a flagrant foul on Ben.

^true... And they said he did it to "break his fall" and to me it seems he could have just landed on his damn feet. Shaq cant jump that high or far...
