Final Fantasy XI players

are there any?  Still on the fence about picking this up.  Could get it for the PS - but I\'m stuck on the couch recovering from a car accident.

Just curious if anyone plays, if its worth picking up.  I know its a monthly charge, but I\'d only expect to play for a month or two.

I play FFXI.  

MPTheory and I play on the Ramuh server.  It\'s a great MMORPG, if you like MMORPG\'s.  It\'s hard to say if you will like it or not.  Some people love it, some people hate it.  Everyone is different.  Thats why they make strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice cream.


I will answer any questions that you have about the game, but I\'m not going to say, "OMFGYOUWILL LOVETHISGAM3.WTFBBQ4X4!!!!11 BUY 1TNOW."



PS - the first month is free, but you will still need a credit or debit card to set up an account.

I just got it.  HDD is installed - all of the software was already pre installed, made installation a snap.

I am registered as "Kirath"  Guess ill just jump in the game.

When you log into the game it will say "Welcome to _______".  

That is the server that you are on.  If you want to play on a specific server, you must have someone get you a world pass  from the server you want to play in.

There is a list of the servers at playonline.com

You will have to create a new character if you want to switch servers.

If you want to play on the Ramuh server, (where MPTheory and I play), let me know and I can buy you a world pass to our server.

Had to goto Boston this weekend, so I have\'nt even gotten the chance to play.  I setup a character and played for about 5mins.  I read about the pass thing.  What level are you guys?  I think I wanna start things out on my own, get the feel for things, and then join a party.  Let me know, I could just do the pass thing, do my thing for a bit, then catch up with you later.  Let me know.

I just got logged off too, can\'t figure it out.  Tried logging back in, but it seems to me the playonline server is down.  Anyone experience disconnects?

Can anyone answer me this?  I have a couple things in my inventory that I can not use or sell or get rid of.  Couple of crystals and a flint I think.  They are all single items that take up a slot.  Its strange, maybe a glitch I think, or is that normal>?

Can\'t sell them?  Maybe you gave them a price for your bazar?  If so, set the price to 0 and then you should be able to sell them to a npc.

What race and town did you start in?

When can you start a sub job?

Some NPC near the Far west side of Selbina (Valkrum Dunes City) He wants 3 things... Damsle fly worm, crab apron, and Magicked Skull. All are RARE(EX) items.

You must be level 18 to get sub.
