GTA San Andreas Pics

God damn spudz, being a black man gives GTA a bad image...  in a game where you are rewarded for killing pedestrians and cops, you\'re worried about a black main characted hurting it\'s image? I can\'t believe you sometimes, maybe you should pass on this game and wait until you can play as a Nascar watching KKK member and lynch some coloreds.

One out of "god knows how many" games has a black main character and people are already complaining. You should see what some people are saying on other message boards.

BTW, Lord willing this game will have ALL of my favorite early-mid 90\'s west coast rap songs prominently displayed in cutscenes and on radio stations. If not just for my own enjoyment then to piss off the rap haters.

Alright, if he was white and listened to rap and talked all getto and shit then I still wouldn\'t want to play as him. It would be even gayer if he was white and did all of those things, like Eminem. I know it sounds like I\'m stereotyping but if a GTA game is based around a black guy in the getto that\'s whats going to happen. White poeple can just be as annoying.

^^^So what? SURPRISE, Some black people in the ghetto listen to rap music. I\'m glad that they are trying something new as opposed to making all of the games based on the mafia.

It just makes no sense to say you don\'t want the main character to be such-and-such because you don\'t like ______ music. Especially in a game like GTA where you would have to hear it for maybe 30 seconds, in total, while you are switching between radio stations.

As for "talking all ghetto"? Get over it.

I completely fine about this. I\'m pretty damn tired of the whole "mafia" bullshit.

And Im sure a bunch of people would be pretty dissapointed if the guy was some black clad metal head doing the same shit in god knows where. Suburbia maybe, and trying to fight the system. I know all the stations cant be all rap because 1) rockstar wouldnt do that. If you had 10 rap and r&b stations then that would be a stupid move and they have always put diversity in their music depite the location etc. Not only that, but considering this map is going to be larger than even vice city, i cant imagine that the whole thing is a ghetto.

And all that mafia shit was getting boring anyway. Tommy Vercetti was a lame character IMO (and its not because im black). Id much rather see "the guy" from GTA3 than vercetti.

So for you spudz and zipcrash, just calm the **** down and stop assuming that the whole thing is going to be "ghetto fabulous."

I can understand why people may not like it. If they hate the culture, attitude and music. Then their most likely not going to like a game based around it.  Thats their opinion.

I don\'t know how they could hate the culture when the most they have experienced of the culture is on the radio.  If it was another Italian mafia guy I\'d be a little disappointed, I mean how many mafia games can you make before you get tired of it.

^^^damn skippy and i\'m at the forefront of it! ..seriously tho it\'s good that they made the main character black...i know the majority of people in america is white..which is taking somewhat of a risk but overall if the game is good there should be no problem..sheeit it shouldn\'t be a problem at all.. we\'ve played as white main charcaters for years on end...the minute a afri. amer comes on the scene you cats wanna riff...do me a favor..stfu and play the damn game....
