I couldn\'t find a spare glove or visor, so today I made the bold move to carve into my existing glove box.
And it worked!
The NES is wider than my glove, but I cut just enough from the top and sides that the door still opens and it clears the screws that hold in my passenger side airbag.
An added plus, there\'s just enough room for the lid to open and you can close it if you slide your finger behind it and push it down. It\'s a snug fit, but it\'s in there and when you open the glove, it\'ll be all NES.
I\'ve ordered everything I need online, including a second NES so when I put in the final equipment, I will try to put back a little plastic to cover up the small holes you see under the NES, and the hole above the unit that looks back to those troublesome airbag screws.
Probably the biggest hurdle, getting a clunky NES to fit in a tiny glove compartment, is over. I\'ll still try for pictures once it\'s all done.
