Serious question on hotmail privacy.Computer masters please inform me

You get what you pay for.  Next time instead of relying on a free hotmail account, you should pay something for a higher quality webmail account that permits POP access.  That way you can keep your email address the same when changing ISPs, but you can also download the mail to your PC instead of storing it on someone else\'s server that can be hacked.

Don\'t bother trying to get into the other guy\'s email just to delete what he stole from you.  He could have already printed it.  You should go for a scorched earth policy right now and forget about the past.  Cancel all credit cards or bank accounts that might have been identified in the email messages.  Change every password you have, and develop a private system for generating passwords that will be different every time.

You can\'t win this; just make the best of it and move on.

Anyone who uses a freemail service with vitial information is a complete idiot. They are constantly finding new exploits for things like Hotmail and there is always scammers , so why depend on a freemail service for mission critical stuff?

To put it simple; you got owned. Move on.
