As far as sci-fi goes the story was good, however it takes a back seat to the amazing cg.  IMO, it\'s worth seeing in the theater for the special effects, the friend I went with thought the same thing.

\'Riddick\' was downright terrible.  Pitch Black did not need a sequel.

I thought Riddick was awful. I couldn\'t get into that for a second. I never had a problem with Vin Diesel in the couple films I\'ve seen, but he proved his lack of talent and then some in this sequel.

Haven\'t seen White Chicks yet, and I won\'t. Though I would go see Dodgeball if someone asked me to go with them.

Right now, I\'m just looking forward to Farenheit 9/11.

Anyway, i thought Riddick was good entertainment wise. Im definately not saying that it raised any benchmarks but it was ok. I can see why people didnt like it. I wont go into detail and i dont have the time to put sp tags (going to relax in the hot tub after hell (work)).

Id say see the movie keeping in mind that its not going to be some breakthrough new film.

well im not trying to speak for all of you people that are white, but a lot of white people dont give a flying f because they think that they are hot shit (hard to explain but i dont really mean it in an arrogant way. But yeah some do REALLY hate it. Even if they are even somewhat racist, they play it off like, in this day how come other people can make fun of white people and not get crap but we cant? The subject is debateable but the answers from other races are obvious.

i think it\'s just a matter of preference..there was a movie called soul man in which a white guy dressed up as a black man...i remember it vaguely..years ago...

theirs only one true reason why (and this is debateable) white peeps can\'t clown on black people like that..it all goes back to them being in power & slavery..and thinking they are better than everyone else...i mean yea we laugh & joke about it..but at the end of the day black people have to work twice as hard to get that job...twice as hard to get that house...and please don\'t anybody talk about reverse discrimination..that\'s a joke..

take you got served for instance...i didn\'t go see that flick..but some here thought of it as some urban sterotype movie with black kids dancin\' around like little monkeys...while shows like dawsons creek & 7th heaven are golden (hopefully you get the point i\'m tryin to make)

to be fair at the same token some of "us" afri. americans need to lighten up a bit..i was watchin comic view and  they had this white comedian on..and y\'know he was raggin\' on how some blacks were always late (if you heard the joke you would\'ve known what he said was true about us) and it was funny, but the crowd was startin to hate on him a bit which i thought was wrong.

look what happend a few dayd ago in la when those cops chased that guy down that stole a car yea he was wrong..but he had stopped & put both of his up & laid on the ground..and the one cop came over and smahed him numerous times with his flashlight..yea i took it off topic but something needed to be said on top of nicons comment...
