how about Garciapara for Clement, I\'m sick of his stupid Crybaby crap and we need another starter.

Our bullpen is solid with the exception of Embree, who seems to have lost it.  Foulke has been shakey lately as well, but he\'ll return to form.

Congrats on your abilty to deflect a hockey puck off of a stick.

Now, read the spin off of a Slider. Guess for the change, keep your hands back. Do it in less than a second.

In the meantime, stop acting like you\'re superior to baseball and in turn think it\'s boring.

Have fun watching the Hockey lockout.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

If we trade Nomar who do we put at SS? Dropping Nomar would open up a HUGE hole in our lineup. Pokey can cover for Nomar defensively(once he is healthy) but his bat is garbage.

Our bullpen is definately NOT solid. Fouke, Timlin, and Embree are good but Embree and Timlin are overworked. Leskanic, Mendoza, and Adams show bright spots but they have not been consistent enough to label theem solid. Hopefully Swilly will come back as strong as he was in April and May. We need another arm just for the sake of taking some pressure off the rest of the pen.

Pokey at Shortstop, Bellhorn at 2B, Mueller at 3b, Ortiz at 1st, with Manny, Damon, and Millar in LF...then you just need another bat :)

Thats great, I don\'t think you could touch a 90mph fastball with a tennis racket let alone a heavy wooden bat.

I hate hockey.  Only played it because I was good.

Tell you what, put me at centerfield and give me a DH and I can make a nice 2 mil a year.

Any runs you save by having Pokey and Rob Schneider up the middle would be lost on errors to Big Papi Ortiz. If Nomar had to go(which I HIGHLY doubt would happen) I would rather see Millar at first Ortiz DH\'ing and hope the Sox get a serviceable outfielder to replace Trot(if he is going to be out for an extended period of time)

Damn straight he would. I would be happy if the Sox snatched him up; but I don\'t think Epstein is going to bite on that contract of his.

Latest word is that Lowe might be on his way out. Unless they can get a good number 3 or 4 starter I would rather keep him.

BTW, What the hell is up with Wrigley falling apart? The funniest thing ever would be if they made the Cubbies play at US Cellular Field like when the Spankeys had to play at Shea while getting their stadium fixed up.

Well, it\'s playable...but since the Mayor of Chicago is a complete douche bag when it comes to this thing -- there was a whole dispute before the 2003 Season about those Seats behind Sheffield and Waveland Avenues, that the Mayor was being a complete prick about.

If the Cubs do have to play at U.S. Cellular...I kill. That sorry excuse for a ballpark doesn\'t even deserve to host Cubs games. Hell, those Upper Deck seats are more of a danger to anybody than Wrigley will ever be.

Oh, and uh, Carlos Zambrano still kicks ass. 8 scoreless innings against the Brewers, Cubs take 2 out of 3. Now to face the slumping Phillies...

Met\'s just picked up Chris Benson and a pitcher from the Devil Rays. A think some bench player too.

For Wiggington, Scott Kazmir, and 3 other minor leagurs.

Dear Mets: You will not make the playoffs this year. Stop trading away good prospects.

Thankyou.
