So....did that jet get caught in a time warp? And how did Donnie enter the worm hole to change the future events? Was the Bunny rabbit guy a time traveller? Why a bunny suit?

or......did he just dream this whole thing up at the moment of impact?

I wish Salon would write up an extensive article on this movie (they prolly did but too lazy to look) but I think Donnie was able to peek into the future and see what would happen if he didn\'t die.  When the chance came he chose death instead.

If the audience is supposed to make up their own ending then I\'m right.  Besides it doesn\'t make sense to me any other way.

The DVD version showed one scene where the doctor tells the mom that she was prescribing placebo pills to Donnie. So Donnie wasn\'t really drugged up when he saw the bunny suit. I wanna know who the bunny is. I know Frank was shot in the face at the end wearing teh bunny suit but how does he fit in from the beginning of the story - IF he\'s the guy in the suit the whole time.

I think the whole movie was one instance of a loop.  Donnie was the "if" keeping the loop going.  The fact that he didnt die gave him the chance to find out how to travel thru time.  He went back to before the jet engine took out his room and let it kill him.  Thats the only way to break the loop.

on top of the that, he was still crazy. Frank was probably Donnie\'s way of dealing with everything he knew about the future

But the Bunny led him to link other events like....meeting his GF, burning the home of the kiddie porn pervert which in turn led to his mom and sis on teh plane that got caught in a time warp/caused his own death.
