Whatever happened to...?

That was a game?
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

yeah i used to play these:

The tiger electronics ones. I had GrandPrix and this really kool ninja game (it had some technical moves for those things). And then i think a couple of baseball, basketball and football ones. My friend still has one i think.

Those were the days.

Castlevania - That pos PS2 one doesn\'t count. The GBA games are a nice hold over, but I want a REAL Castlevania on one of the 3 consoles.

Tie Fighter - Lucas Arts needs to make more games in this series.

I remember those Tiger games. I still have Double Dragon 3.

I guess I\'m one of the few people who actually ended up really liking LOI. When I first played it (on a rental), I thought it was boring, with very little variation in the environment, and without much variation on fighting. But, I kept playing it since I had the rental for a week, and after about the first level and a half, I really started getting into the combat style as I earned new combos, and the exploration became really fun after I realized that old castles look pretty much the same throughout, and I stopped caring about repetitive scenery. The later levels look much better anyway. I ended up buying the game after my rental was over just because I liked it so much, but I will say I had to spend some time with it early on to really get into it. It was well worth it, though.
