Nothing tops when Terrell placed the ball on the Cowboys\' star... I was jumping around my room going nuts... Until he then got hit, and then I ironically yelled, "Thats bullshit!"

One of my favorite plays of all time was, of course, the Black 41 Flash Reverse against Oklahoma in 2001. That was one of my favorite Husker plays ever, and the players, after making that play, jumped on each other in the end zone in celebration of the backbreaking play against the then #1 Oklahoma Sooners, endin their 20 game losing streak.

Apparently showing that emotion of scoring that TD with that kind of a play was excessive celebration. I was listening to the radio broadcast, and something very smart was said -- "If you can\'t celebrate THAT, then what CAN you celebrate?" Apparently nothing. Sad.

What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

That seriously was the best celebration instance of my life.  The whole Owens then Emmitt then Owens getting tackled...amazing to watch on TV.  I loved it, so much entertainment.  I hate that that gets taken away by these rules.  You score, you should be able to celebrate how you want.

I hate a lot of other things the NFL does too.  Take a look at Chad Johnson last year.  He got fined for everything.  For the shoes he wore every game for example.  It just does too far if you ask me.

That is what I have been saying. Let the guys enjoy the game.

I personally like the end zone dances. It takes the fun away, because usually your dancing along with him at home. And seeing them just casually run back out and give it to the ref wouldnt make a touchdown as exciting.

The beauty of these idiots celebrating is that they could be losing by 4 touchdowns and they\'ll still do it.

so true..but let\'s not forget that great monday night moment when the jets came back on the miami dolphins..i forget what the score was but i know that they were losing bad i mean something like 32-3 in the 3rd qtr,.but myself along with just about everybody else wrote that off as a loss that night,..but the jets came back to win it...point is, is that was a REAL cause for celebration..

Terrell Owens is a complete f*ck head, he\'s almost totally the reason this rule is in place, so if you want to thank someone thank him and Joe Horn, and the old people that run the game, idiots.

Jets were down 37-3...and it was the 4th quarter that they were losing in. Makes it even better.

Jumbo Elliott catching the game-tying Touchdown in the back of the end zone -- Jumbo Elliott, the offensive linemen. What a great game.

Though I think the celebration stuff sucks, I do agree with the fact that some of these guys (like Deion Sanders, who would do his little celebration after a TD when his team was down 37-0 against the Bills) take it to a crap level, you do have the right to, oh, you know, show some damn EMOTION.

See Yuz.

i\'m not really sure what brought about the ban..i think you\'re right tho..about terrell being part of it..ever since the dallas fiasco and then the stunt he pulled with the pen (signing the football with a pen he hid in his sock/shoe) the powers that be have been all over it..

i really didn\'t see anything wrong with the signing of the football either..that said tho..i would still love to see these players celebrate like that old man in those six flags commercials :p

It was completly unclassy of TO to go dancing on the Star like that.  That thing is sacred I tell you!  I just wish it was Roy Williams in that #31 jersey that hit him at the time and not the other guy.

As for excessive celebrations, I think anything with props is the only thing that should be thrown out the window.   The Texans have adopted the leap into the stands after the touchdown celebration but now only one player can do it and not 2.  It used to be Carr and whoever caught the ball...but I noticed when Houston played Dallas this year and Houston scored David started for the stands and then had to stop himself.
It\'s only funny until someone gets hurt...then it\'s hillarious.
