While I am hearing so many good things about this. It\'s a must rent for me when I get my xbox back. The things is dying on me so I sent it back to MS. I won\'t have it for two weeks. So as soon as it comes home I will go rent this one.

Possible fable 1.5

Happy days if true. Perhaps they will put some of the stuff in they pulled at the last minute.

Heh, I think that was painfully obvious.

People here who\'ve played it seem to be digging it though, so it must be alright.

I\'m having fun playing a shitty EA pirate game right now, though, so fun and good are two different things.

Maybe it is because I never followed the development of Fable / Project Ego, but I find the game to very fun and highly polished. For me, it has been a rewarding experience to take a character and see how all the NPC\'s react to him , due to things I have done in other parts of the game.

Infact, I will play it again, as good, just to see the difference and it is rare that I feel compelled to play a game twice.

I agree, this game did not break the barriers that it claimed it would, but its a damn good game.

There\'s incentive to play it twice, first time through I\'m gonna be a good guy, second time through a bad guy.  After that it has almost no replay value.

One beef I have with this game is that you can just pay off your alignment.  Oh well, this can only lead to better games to come.. I hope.

OK got mine on Tuesday was at Frys for 38 bucks I figured 12 bucks off might as well buy it.

TO be honest I really only heard of the name Fable prior to me buying it I knew there was allot of hype but had no Idea what the game was even about. I enjoy playing it yet at the same time it feels very "kidy" to me I know that not really a word but I hope you know what I mean buy it. To start off F MY SISTER why do I even want to buy her a box of chocolates. If your gonna make the game open then let the way I act change the course of the game. For example I did not but bad things to that point and still managed to get 3 gold pieces for the damn chocolates but why make me give them to her. How bout this since I have been bad to this point let me eat the chocolates and then kick her in the ass for her birthday.

I dunno my overall impression is alright and It is fun to play but its nothing new it KOTOR and Zelda mixed together that pretty much it.

Game is beat. Not a bad ride. Not sure if I want to go through as a hero or not yet.

Especially since I would go a couple of days in between plays. Total time was 20 hours, and that was with me jerking off quite a bit.

I hate to admit it, but this game would have been benefited a great deal if there were more missions. :(

I will agree the game needed more missions, I am near the end and I don\'t want it to end. At this point, with my current character, I am finding diversions so the game doesn\'t end. It\'s a sad truth, the game is spectacular, but short.

mm, please just give it up.  The game managed to get great reviews and it looks like everyone here who\'s played have confirmed it\'s a good game.  Not a turd and no matter how hard you try you\'ll never be able to justify your complaint on development time.

Many games could do with more everything and as I said before, that\'s why there are sequels.

As far as adventure games go how does Fable stack up?
