They will most likely work by system regions.  Simply change your region to USA and most likely have everything in it... Same thing was on GTA3 if I remember right..  Most aussies will probably get the yank version anyway.

Man I played this game for hours yesterday. Forget about how long it took for them to make it... its hardly revolutionary and hardly fun at that. I love RPG\'s, and I loved Black and White... but this game didnt even deserve a 8.9 in my book. Maybe 7.5

Now you\'re just running in circles.

One, you haven\'t even touched why the 5 year development time matters to you.  If you can\'t explain why then just quit saying it.

Two, nobody was forced to buy the game.

Three, what excuses?  If you bring up the fact that there were aspects of the game that didn\'t make then you should know that this happens with most all games.  Fable happened to be more publicized but that still doesn\'t change the fact.

Four, you haven\'t succeeded in convincing anyone on this board that you have a leg to stand on.

Why not since its fun and enjoyable?Why should a gamer not let himself have this experience when its a good one?I mean look.They seem to like this game.They dont seem to regret it.I would have bought it too if I had the chance since it seems to be a nice experience

I\'ve already heard this at least a dozen times in this thread.  What I\'m asking is how that\'s relevant to anyone\'s experience with the game?

I brought up Star Ocean III earlier, a game that was also in development for five years...should I have expected more just because it was in development longer than most rpgs?

So, if I have two stellar games in front of me I should judge them based on the development time?  The game with the shorter development time wins?

Like I\'ve been telling mm, you should really explain yourself if you\'re going to make such comments.

But how is reading into the developers hype any different than reading into media hype which most of you claim to be above?

Just to broaden the spectrum why don\'t we look into other types of media?  Are you guys also so gullible when it comes to movies and music?

Do you judge the quality of the media based on the production/development time and pre-release hype?  Do you judge your favorite album/movie by sales?

If [insert artist/director/whatever] tells you "...so amazing we\'d get orgasms from just looking at it...".  Do you buy in to it or are video games the exception?

And don\'t bother saying they\'re all different, it\'s entertainment media.
