Internet Explorer vs. Firefox vs. Opera vs. anything else

haha, Firefox loaded it all in about .7 sec.  Opened IE, pasted the link, clicked go and all I saw was the top banner.  Waited 7 seconds, still nothing so clicked refresh.  Load time about 1 second total.

Poor design is not to be blamed on the browser but the designer.  For some reason the left sidebars are seen in the middle of the page in Firefox.  The designer probably has them set on centered somewhere in his code and doesn\'t know it, then the bars default to the left when the forums open.

In IE it just stays blank until the forums load.

Ya that site looks bad cause they didnt make it IE and Mozilla friendly. Personally I use firefor for the extensions. Being a webdesigner there are tons of cool tools that come with it including a button so I can see what the page looks like at any screen size I pic now that cool If I ever want to see what it looks like at 800X600 bam the browser automatically resizes to that very cool.

That Nightwatcher site opened up in about half the time in Firefox while IE, as THX said, had the top banner loaded and it took a little bit longer to load the forums list.

Dont have firefox on this computer but IE loaded it up pretty quickly. The banner was there for a second or two but after that everything else just popped up.

It could change each time. Either way im not complaining really. Its better than AOL thats for sure, heh. Dont have to worry about pop ups either.

I just switched over to Firefox as my default browser and it\'s great. No hijacks, no pop-ups.. good speed/functionality.

Also, Cyrus\' avatar doesn\'t work properly with IE. It\'s all slow and choppy, while on Firefox it\'s full-speed and smooth.

IE has no connection to Outlook Express.  You can run Outlook Express without IE.  BTW full blown Outlook is better.

I really don\'t need the full outlook, all I do is send and recieve, I wouldn\'t even know what to do with those other functions.

Any browser without tabs is not a true browser.

Firefox hates me. The damn screen starts bouncing when I use it.

Mozilla will suffice.
