This news makes the baby Jesus cry.

I had my hopes up for some good online racing with fine-tuned and slightly tweaked cars of choice.

Just think of a race where all the cars are the same type, just tuned differently to get the best performance. It\'s going to be a sad, lonely holiday season.

I ain\'t disappointed. The online add-on is for next year. This current one is what I would have preferred anyway.

Online GT4? Heh....I can just imagine all the 12 to 15 year olds intentionally going the wrong way to ram people.

I think there is an online version of GT sheduled for release some time next year.

I doesn\'t bother me anyway because my ps2 doesn\'t have any online capability.

:(  damn. I really dont care too much for it but since they promised it i was looking forward to online drift tournaments and everything. That was one of the biggest things about online play that i wanted. Not only that but being able to actually play somebody in the game (lets face it, 2 player split screen sucks ass).

Oh well. At least we still have photo mode.

The game supports LAN play, so if people want to play online they buy a crossover cable and download a copy of Xlink and play.

Console, and if youve seen previous shots/information, it does look pretty interesting.

Then again im sure people would have been able to share their pictures online which is no longer available.

Thanks maka.

I was looking for a game to get me online and this one was going to be the one but i guess not. The # of users is always greatly reduced when you can connect directly through the game. Lack of users always kills games online.

oh well.:(  still a must buy if you ask me.
