i thought the exact same thing..silent hill 4 to be precise.. with  that zombie girl crawling on the ground and all and the way they perceive the rooms..heh this film could\'ve been called "silent 4 the movie" :p

I saw the preview and immediatly thought of japanese movie hack like the ring.

Capcom wached \'The Grudge\' (Jap version) and loved it. He hyped it up to be the next big thing, I watched it and thought it was decent. I think my expectations was simply to high after listening to him rant and rave about it. :)

Still, the Jap version was okay, but I have zero hopes for this American remake....

The same director who made Ju-On (The Grudge) did the American version. I saw it. Scared me. Girls were screaming like bitches. So were the guys.
