It\'s getting close to Halloween and I\'m trying to get myself psyched up with some paranormal stuff.

What is the most convincing video or photo of a ghost or paranormal event that you have seen?

Never seen a ghost but i always think i hear noises etc then get my self worked up or more a case of other people contributing to it. I was out camping with some freinds a few years a go and we went for a walk in the dark and we were all just trying to scare each other, then we were sure we heard a dog bark and twigs cracking around us - bearing in mind this is pitch black at night, we all crap it and run like hell back to the tent where some camp wardens run up from around the tent and scare the crap out of us again 5 minutes alter, lol, fun times.

I never once claimed to see or hear ghosts up until I was hired at my current employer.

There are doors constantly opening and shutting on their own in that place. I left one night only to forget somthing. I go back, and the lights are on. LIC and I walked out in the dark. So I am positive they were off. I have heard screaming, laughter, and whistling.  You will from time to time catch a whiff of perfume. Hear people walking upstairs without a person there.  They will at times mimic your footsteps in as they play catch-up with a few seconds delay after you quit walking. Bright blinding lights that flash for a few seconds then go away. My sister swore she saw a red headed lady in there one night. Most of these things happen between 10 pm - 2 am.

History on the building. It was built around 1900 not sure of the exact date. Where it was a hotel for many years. The building use to be three stories, but is now two. No one knows the reason why. There was even a write up in the paper asking what happened to the third floor asking for any info. I was made aware of this after I went around asking about the place. Last year we had someone come in, and do some renovation. They discovered bones under the floorboard. The contractor did not have a license so it was hushed up, and put back under the floorboards. If I was not a sys-admin, and have to work nights. I would never step foot in there after 10.

By no means am I a religious person - so I don\'t believe in Ghosts, but I can attest to what Capcom says..

This is the truth.

We was there one night, extremely late running cable for the network. We locked up, turned the lights off and was leaving. We left out of the back - we made sure EVERY LIGHT was out (because we complained about having to walk out in the dark). When we got in our car, drove around to the front, all the lights was on . This is no joke. It freaked the **** out of me.

Another weird thing about that place, it has two basements. One of which you lift up part of the floor (which is carpeted). When you go down there, there is an ...outhouse and a bunch of other old things. God\'s honest truth.

If I remember correctly, and if not, Capcom can tell the story - but they recently had two construction workers quit there due to odd behavior happening to them in the upper attic - which is a spot I refuse to go in

One more thing - I remember one evening we was working late and started hearing people running upstairs. I don\'t mean like lighty, it was the obvious sound of someone ...RUNNING above us. Which, was in the upper attic. I can pass that one off as to some kind of animal in the attic , but to this day, I cannot explain how we turned every light off, then drove by to have every single light back on.


I have put in a lot of hours there with Capcom and there has been very few nights where something didn\'t happen. You either hear laughing, screaming, running or lights turn on and off. I\'ve never seen anything as far as an actual "ghost", but I\'ve seen strange things happen in that building and even tho\' I\'m not religious, you still won\'t get me in that place at night by myself.

By the fact they put them back in the floor. What do you think?

The story about the contractors quitting is they were doing renovation on the ballroom. One of them went downstairs for somthing. The one that was left upstairs heard someone walk up the stairs, and then across the floor. He called out to his buddy that was not there. They also had a strong scent of perfume, and one of them feeling as if someone was breathing down their neck. Needless to say they did not last.

I have never had such bad feelings about a place in my life. When I was a kid use to go ghost hunting quite regular. Nothing ever seen or experienced. There are times I leave there and could swear someone is sitting with me in my car  part of the way home. Hair standing up on the back of my neck.

I have literally ran out of that place at night leaving everything behind if it gets too bad. Yes it can get that. Hear somthing screaming in an empty building will do that to you.

When I was first hired in. The network was in shambles. AKA running a server without a firewall. The first night I heard someone whistle a tune from one end of the building to the other. Never heard the tune before, and could not whistle it now if I had to. Needless to say my first week was hell.

There are times I will beg LIC to ride along because it does get that freaky. It is not as bad with two people for some reason. Though you still hear the doors and walking.

I\'ve heard things in my house that I can\'t explain.  There used to be a bunch of knocking going on, like I\'d be in the rest room and I\'d hear light taps on the door.  One time I was sitting in my room and I clearly heard a noise in the hallway as if someone were walking up and down it knocking the wall on the way.  It went on for a while and I figured it was my brother being obnoxious...I went to tell him to knock it off but when I looked out my room there wasn\'t anybody there.  The knocking happened quite frequently and it eventually got to the point where I wasn\'t bothered by it unless I was alone, then I\'d just get in my car and go somewhere.

I\'ve had the lights come on after I clearly remember turn them off.  My bro and I were home alone one night and we both set off to bed turning off everything then heading to our rooms.  I came back out to the living room and 3 lights had been turned back on.  I know it wasn\'t my bro because I had seen him close his door which happens to make some noise, I would have heard it if he opened it and walked out to the living room.

The absolute most terrifying was when I was staying at home alone.  I was laying in my bed and it was really quite then I heard the bar stools in the kitchen swivel.  Not just one of them but all four of them so I was a little freaked out...moments later I heard what sounded like footsteps coming from the kitchen, through the living area down the hallway.  It really sounded like someone was in the house.  I have never jumped out of bed so fast, I immediately turned on all the lights in my room then I rushed out into the rest of the house and turned on more lights.  I just left everything in the house on and went to bed.

I\'ve never actually seen a ghost but I don\'t know how else to explain the events above.

It would be bad publicity for the company. I can see the headlines now. Dead body found in local store.

The only experience I have ever had like this, was the one I posted in this thread.

I was told some time after that the building did have a history of unusual events happening.

One girl later told me she had an experience when she was working alone on a project in the very top class room, which was situated in the renovated attic area. She said she was just finishing up some designs one afternoon after the others had left, and she heard the sound of 2 pairs of footsteps walking up the stairs outside, she anticipated someone coming in, so looked round the corner to see who it was, no one came in, she went over to the door, no one was there. The only 2 rooms on the top floor, were the classroom she was in, and the toilet next door, she looked in the toilet, no one was there, so she dropped everything she was doing, and left the building.

You all still work in this place everyday?  Was this just a job or is this where your office is located?  Got any pictures?

Last night I watched "Ghost Hunters" on the SciFi channel.  They observed a house where a woman was living with her daughter.  The mother called the crew in because she had a few experiences with child-like ghosts.  She walked in on her daughter fighting over a doll with someone who wasn\'t there.  She saw her daughter leaning back pulling on the doll. Her daughter let go, and the doll levitated for a few seconds and then dropped.

The TAPS crew took audio recordings while asking questions to the "spirits."  On the tape you can hear a child whispering "They don\'t want us here" as if the spirits knew why the crew was there.

It reminded me of the movie "The Others"

I work there everyday. The only pics that would be of interest is the basement that has an outhouse in it.

May scan the newspaper article that asks about what happened to the 3rd floor.

It would probably be more interesting to record the sounds that go on in there.
