When I heard on the news that John Lennon died, I was shocked. I was eating dinner and my mom had made my favorite. At my age, I was always hungry and that night, I was starving. But as soon as I heard John Lennon had been shot, I lost my appetite. Coz, as a toddler, I used to be able to sing many of the Beatles songs. I knew their names before any other music or movie idol.

I grew up to Beatles music. And that day, is when the music really died for me. Only one other band became my favorite after them, and that was Tears for Fears. But that was short lived coz New Wave got pushed aside by Paula Abdul and New Kids on the Block. I hate MTV.
