Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

I don\'t much care for this series either.  Graphics look pretty but the shooting system is designed for elementary schoolers who can\'t be bothered with aiming.  And the guns shoot out balls of light, how crappy is that?

Question:

Where have all you bitches been? The ones who did not like the original Prime. When I stood up against the mass public, I was alone and everyone praised it. Now that the sequel is coming out, you come out and say the original was not all that. Thanks a lot for the f**kin help earlier last year.

;)

THX: Just wondering.. are you serious about that "shooting system" comment? I\'m going to guess not.

The lock-on feature makes shooting a breeze, all you need is a quick trigger finger and you\'re good to go.  The challenge later on in the game, specifically Phazon Mines and space pirates, was the speed of the enemies, but they were easily defeated if one utilizes side jumping.

Lock-on isn\'t a flawless feature, but rather fitting given the type of A.I. and enemy patterns the game used.. and reasonable considering the focus of the game.

Now, if a game like Halo had a lock-on, I\'d laugh at Bungie because it obviously  would detract from the game greatly.

I wasn\'t suggesting otherwise, I like how Prime plays on its\' exploration and adventure aspect more than a shootem\' up, but still, there\'s little to no skill involved with the shooting itself but rather the way you engage the enemy.

Guess there\'s no need to worry about that now is there?
