The band probably kept playing to cover somewhat of whats left of the performance, or they just said "F@#k it" and kept playing.

What happened was she lip synched the first song Pieces of you or pieces of me, whatever the freaking song is called.

You can hear it in the track.  It starts off with her live mic over the recorded track and by the 2nd line you can hear it fade out.


Well the second time the band came out they started playing another song and the same lyrics came out for that Pieces of Pooh song again.

THen she walked off rather than just stopping the band and starting fresh with a live mic.

Did any of you guys see the filler piece SNL used?  SOme stupid ass skit with everyone wearing bear costumes?

You know they were scrambling big time to try and fill that extra 2 minutes of air time.

The band did the right thing by playing on. She could have turned it into something good but she freaked out.

Damn funny, though. Funniest thing on SNL in quite some time.
