Thats such a beautiful thing. (sara)
I just picked up my copy on my way home today and i was a bit worried because i was reading about how its all just the same shit etc. and though it is to an extent, it really starts to feel different. Somebody said the visuals arent better but i would definitely have to disagree. There is no huge immediate difference but if you go into the cine view, you can easily see the difference in textures etc. The cars shine and there are now actual looking blades of grass.
The weather looks better as well. Driveby\'s have never been so sweet and doing the tomagachi thing on your negro has never been better (pardon me - reference to another GTA thread). As far as the missions go - I havent gotten too far into the game but you get to see a variety of aspects from the beginning. Luckily its not too repetitive and the whole meet all the family and do jobs for them bit is scrapped - well at least this far. With the whole maintaining your character thing, you can actually go a day without doing actual missions, which i think is pretty kool. Working out, eating, gettin your hur did, tattoos and threads are all pretty neat. There are even small arcade games (ala super turkey puncher 3 from doom3), and i havent even gotten to a point where i can customize my car.
Knowing a lot of the music on here, I find it pretty entertaining. The silly nature of GTA\'s original soundtrack is still there but not nearly as strong. Im guessing indifference might be a common thing with people this time around.
The language is definitely a lot stronger and personally makes it enjoyable in a silly type of way. Also, after the missions i have done, I havent gotten a lot of cash (if i got any at all). Im going to assume that this means that the game\'s longevity is great or im just not getting paid because of the situation the character is in.
Theres a lot to say and i havent even gotten that far yet. Hopefully this wasnt just a bunch of jabber. After some doubts in the beginning, the game is definitely starting to shape up.
