Stupid windows XP!  it took me an hour and 10 minutes to boot my computer (I kept getting a Stop:C00000218 Error (I couldnt safe-mode boot (ANY OF THE SAFEMODE OPTIONS) or boot from last good)).  anyone else have/had this problem and have a quick fix??????

Nope. Is yer boot sector kaput? My XP got corrupted after my wife went to the XP update page. Prolly coz that XP was the ole FQQK- serial number. :p

well......... I am on my dads PC typing this...guess what that means??????????????  the DARN THING WONT BOOT UP PERIOD!  and the PC guy was closed all weekend....... GRRRRR...........

I betcha I have atleast 300 e-mails (over half spam......probly more like 3/4......)

what makes it worse is our printer is hooked up to my PC and that means I cant Print out the instructions to fix it!  now might be a good time to buy a Wireless USB bridge for the printer....... I think Best buy has a couple.....

me and a buddy found the problem.  either my DVD player or my CDR/RW was causing it  he is going to "tune it up" and see if there are any other problems I might get a descent (newer) CDR/RW out of it (the one I have is from 1999 out of my old gateway).
