That is what I was referring to.

The fact is with Arafat gone there is a greater chance that the Israeli\'s and the PAL\'s can come to some sort of agreement.   Arafat is a terrorist and frankly the world is better off without him.  He was a major roadblock to any peace agreement.  

Of course with the passing of any leader in a country like Palestine there is a power vacuum - you on the other hand are trying to portray it as the apocolypse.  :rolleyes:

No...My history teacher told me that. It was just a worst case scenario wise ass.

Israel was given to the Jews b/c of humanitarian reasons and other. Muslims didn\'t take it so well went to war and lost the war and land. Now the country is divided. IT could happen.


The apocolypse...nah...that started with the war in Iraq.

yep, no doubt..i knew the pal\'s was gonna blame israel for his death,..for having him held prisoner for 2 yrs or whatever..with no real acces to the outside world...

now i have heard of that proposal that was given to the pal\'s where israel was willing to offer at least 90% of what the pal\'s wanted...i see it like this,..if they fought a war with isreal and lost...they need to just suck it up and accept it...now i know the offer wasn\'t presented back then in 67...but arafat at the time(sometime in the mid 90\'s) should\'ve took the offer...

that whole situation is doomed..the pal\'s want israel gone completely and israel, at this time it seems doesn\'t want to give up anything...

I heard he died and was revived a few times. He saw heaven...but there weren\'t 72 virgins but rather 72 Virginians! Nasty.
